Job Description: We are currently seeking to hire a Retail Sales Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for the ordering, inventory control, stocking of parts, displaying merchandise, and encompassing the mission of Coastal Bend Marine. Responsibilities:Consult customers on the right products for their application(s)Help out around the shop with various dutiesAnalyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvementTrack results and trends regularly for business forecastingHelp with product placement to increase store revenueDevelop and execute innovative sales strategiesBuild and form new partnerships with potential clients so that they come back in time and time again Qualifications:Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fieldExperience in marine-specific environmentKnowledge of boats/fishingStrong leadership qualitiesAbility to build rapport with clients to establish repeat businessModerate physical exertion will be required- bending, lifting, standing, on sales floorTeachable and willing to learn about boating/fishing etc Compensation TBD based off of prior knowledge/experience within sales.
